Hello, my name is Dietmar Schwarz. I was born in Linz in 1977. Linz a beautiful town in the north of Austria whrere I grew up a little bit outside, in a village called Puchenau.
I am a mechanical engineer by education. In 2017, I discovered a passion that completely changed the way I see the world: photography. It all started with something simple, I wanted to capture the first moments of my newborn kittens. What began as a small hobby quickly grew into a true creative outlet for me.
Photography became more than just taking pictures; it became a way to tell stories, preserve emotions, and freeze unique moments in time. I love how a single image can speak louder than words and evoke feelings that last forever.
For me, photography is not only an art form but also a fascinating blend of creativity and technology.
Understanding light, optics, and the technical aspects of cameras and lenses excites me just as much as composing the perfect shot. My engineering background gives me a natural curiosity for the technical side of photography, and I truly enjoy mastering both the artistic and scientific elements of this craft.
In the early days, I photographed just for myself, but after a few years, I started taking on my first event photography projects. This step allowed me to share my perspective with others and create memories that matter to them as much as they do to me.
